Rhombus Guys Pizza...Brewpub???

randy that is because you don't enjoy pounding light lagers! i have been know to do that so i have aquired that taste!

but i an amber or brown with BBQ that is heaven!

I don't know any of the Rhombus guys but I might depending on what they have on tap when they open in a few months.

PHC members were the brewers at the Great Northern and Trader & Trapper brewpubs when they were open in Fargo and Moorhead so we do have professional experience here and we will certainly talk with them once they are here. I don't think Rhombus Guys location would really work for brewing equipment but we will have to see.

As to pizza and beer, I am a firm believer that there is a beer for every food. The more basic the pizza, the more basic the beer. Thus I go for the interesting pizzas so I can pair them with interesting beers.

Interesting... Do you know any of these guys Dean? Could be pretty cool for the PHC.

Personally, I never understood pizza and beer. I prefer a nice sweet soda. BBQ and beer, now that's a match made in heaven.

The following information was in the TradeTalk article in the Fargo Forum today today talking about Rhombus Guys Pizza opening up soon at 606 Main Ave. Fargo next to Babb’s Coffee House.

"One detail of note: The Rhombus liquor license approved last month by the Fargo City Commission carries a microbrew designation, meaning Rhombus can add a microbrewery in the future. Winjum says they have no immediate plans to do so.
“We don’t have the expertise right now,” he told me. They might work with more seasoned local brew enthusiasts to get a brewery going in the future.
“It’s something we’ve always dreamed about,” he told me. As of
now, a Rhombus brewery would be the only local option of its kind in Fargo – or in all of North Dakota, for that matter."
