Sounds great, Paul. Oct. 7 would work for me if it's okay with you.Maybe send me a PM with time, place, etc. Thanks again for the offer I'm sure I'll learn alot.

As far as "inexpensive", I'm not sure but it would seem that the "brew in a bag" method would require less equipment. I'm not sure about the efficiency of this method. My next brew day is likely to be October 7. You'd be welcome to spend some time with me to see my system in operation.

My name is Bob and I'm a brewholic.........
I think we could help a brother brewer out. Maybe sit in on a brew session or something like that.

Welcome!

Inexpensive you say? Hmm... well, it always starts "inexpensive" for me... then it explodes into this great big thing. My name is Randi and I like to shop... for beer and beer making supplies.

I think there's a variety of simple ways to go with all grain. You could go with a tree, or a cooler, or even a brew in a bag.

I know there's a few Minot All-Grain guys on here, maybe they'd let you sneak a peak at their systems. Maybe try a PM with r@fink, Paul, or FUTHARK BREWER.

We'll be having a bunch of brew systems together in Bismarck on November 3rd with the homebrew club. You're certainly welcome to join us!

Cheers and welcome again!

I've only been brewing 1 year, all extract kits from midwest supplies. I made Autumn Amber Ale, Honey Bee Ale, Uncommon Honey Steam, Noble Trappist Ale & Bavarian Wheat. I think I've got the basics down and am thinking about making the switch to all grain brewing. Is there an inexpensive way to try it without buying a lot of equipment? I don't know anyone who all grain brews, so I've never seen it done, so I would like to try it on the cheap the first time to see if it's my thing. Appreciate any advice, comments or whatever.
