Re: Brewing over the holiday?
Glad to hear some brewing occurred over the holiday!
We finally got to one we'd been working on for awhile at the Philleo house. Mike and I brewed an IPA on Saturday. When we agree and work together it goes pretty darn quick. We finished the brew in 2 hours and 35 minutes.

My brew week went down a little different from my plans. I did brew an APA early in the week, but today's offering was an American Amber Ale instead of the Brooklyn Local 2 clone. I'll have to get my specialty grain inventory built up.

I will be brewing an oatmeal stout on the 4th! Venison brats and burgers on the grill! Plus some chocolate peanut butter dessert thing my lovely bride whips up.

I plan on brewing a couple times since it's a vacation week. An APA and a Brooklyn Brewey Local 2 clone are on the agenda.

Sounds like we are brewing on the 4th. Jon and I will be brewing an extra 10 or so gallons of imperial stout that we are short for the wine barrel and then I will be teaching my step-son how to brew with an extract oatmeal stout. Should be a good time!
