Hoppy Halloween 16 - Homebrewing Competition

Submitted some entries and plan to judge at this years HH  

Good evening my ghoulish and garish brewers of the night, I have been in touch with a few flighty friends, the brewery bats and…
THEY’RE COMING!!!!   The whole colony is heading to Fargo North Dakota and with them they bring an insatiable sinister thirst.  

They are brining with them a very special guest speaker, Stan Hieronymus!
Stan is a professional journalist and amateur brewer who has made beer his beat since 1993.
The editor at Realbeer.com, he’s written hundreds of articles for periodicals and written the popular books Brewing with Wheat  (2010), Brew like a Monk (2005) and the recent For the Love of Hops (2012)

You are also invited to celebrate this spooky brewing with us.  Join us in judging the 500+ beers that will be entered, it will be a great experience for everyone and then you will also be able to meet Stan and hear his presentation after the banquet. Information about reserving a room at the event hotel is on the website.

For those brave enough to play with these brewery bats and enter beer, there will be awesome prizes, fantastic feedback, and of course medals hung from those amazing one of a kind handmade lanyards.  In his honor all 1st place medals will be adorned with their likeness – BATS!  Also special awards will be presented for Best of Show - Beer, Best of Show - Mead / Cider, Great Pumpkin and winners of the Fresh Killed Hops and the Hoppy Halloween Theme Beer categories.
