Haha, I never figured there'd be such an issue regarding topic display. Please vote if you haven't. At least that way we can satisfy the majority.

Randi, actually I was talking about the page icon to the left of the topic title, "Rice" in this case. Clicking that page icon will take you to the first unread post. The one you circled will take you to the newest post.

All the forums I read are newest on the bottom and the Masher's forum was the first one I visited with any regularity that was newest on top. Thus I am used to using the page icon by the title to go directly to the first unread post and all other unread posts would be below it.

Clicking on the little page to the left of the topic name when it has unread posts will bring you to your first unread post so you don't have to scroll through all the old posts to get to the unread posts either way they are sorted.

How do you prefer to read the replys inside the forum topic?

We can display them like a story so you keep reading down through them (oldest first) or display the newest on top so you don't have to scroll through the old stuff (newest first).
