Belgian Golden Strong Ale Empty Belgian Golden Strong Ale

Brewed a Belgian Golden Strong Ale today with homemade candi sugar. O.G. was 1.076 and 24 IBUs. Used Wyeast 1388 Belgian Strong Ale yeast, 11 lbs. Pils malt, 2 lbs. candi sugar, 1 lb. wheat malt, 8 ounces old-fashioned rolled oats and 1 ounce of East Kent Goldings hop pellets at 7.2% AA. I built up the yeast to 800 ml before pitching. Aerated the wort for at least 20 minutes with an aquarium pump and stone. Placed carboy on my brewery bench at 65F, so hopefully it will kick in gear soon... drunken
