I wouldn't brew this as listed here. It came out very different than a Taddy Porter for sure. The resulting batch was decent enough, but not a Taddy clone.

So how do you think this turned out? Did you use Molasses or Black Treacle which I believe is the traditional ingredient? I really love Taddy Porter and would love give it a try some day so any experiences or knowledge would be great.

sometimes those are the best....especially the ones that didnt hit mash temps or forgot hops or didnt have the right stuff...Jeff

Brewing a Taddy Porter Clone Today...... maybe.
At least that's how it started. My inventory was a bit shy on chocolate so I added a little coffee malt and Carafa I to make up the difference. My pre boil gravity came out right on the nuts, and we're halfway through the boil right now. Might be considered a "kitchen sink" brew, but I still have high hopes. Cheers!
